takn is the data controller for information submitted through the interest form on usetakn.com. For privacy questions or to withdraw your consent, email feedback@usetakn.com.
What we collect
We collect your email address, an optional name, the date you registered, and a record of the consent wording you accepted. We do not use the form to collect your IP address.
Why we use it
We use this information only to send takn launch news and occasional product updates. Our lawful basis is your consent. The checkbox is optional until you choose to submit the form, and it is not pre-selected.
Where it is stored
The list is stored in takn's private MariaDB database on IONOS hosting. Access is limited to the product owner. We do not sell this information.
How long we keep it
We keep interest-list information while takn is preparing for launch and for up to 12 months after the last relevant product update, unless you withdraw consent sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing feedback@usetakn.com. You can also ask to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your information has not been handled properly.
Service providers
IONOS provides the website, database and hosting infrastructure. If an email provider is introduced before messages are sent, this notice will be updated and the provider will be reviewed before the list is transferred.
